Founded in 1956, Hierros y Metales Tirso specializes in environmental recovery and management.
Recovery work focuses primarily on the management and treatment of ferrous and non-ferrous products in the collection, sorting and distribution of metals in industrial and civil demolition and ship-breaking.
Environmental management includes the removal and management of asbestos cement, the management of waste collection points and hazardous and non-hazardous waste, the transport of dangerous goods, machine washing service for the automotive industry and the decontamination of soils contaminated by hydrocarbons.
Its friendly professional team delivers high quality services on all jobs undertaken.
Our facilities
A 13,300m2 Waste Transfer Centre equipped with the latest equipment for processing and managing by-products and hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

SUBVENCIÓN 2022
Hierros y Metales Tirso S.A ha recibido una ayuda cofinanciada por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional a través del Programa Operativo FEDER 2014-2020 de Cantabria, por medio de la línea de subvenciones CRECE 2 - 2022.
Se han llevado a cabo los proyectos "Compactadora", "Espectrómetro" y "Pulpos", basados en la adquisición de un autocompactador, un espectrómetro y dos pulpos con electroimán para incrementar la capacidad de producción.
La ayuda se enmarca dentro del objetivo OT3, conseguir un tejido empresarial más competitivo.

SUBVENCIÓN 2023
Hierros y Metales Tirso S.A ha recibido una ayuda cofinanciada por el Fondo Europeo de Desarrollo Regional a través del Programa Operativo FEDER 2021-2027 de Cantabria, por medio de la línea de subvenciones CRECE 2 - 2023.
Se han llevado a cabo las siguientes operaciones: adquisición de maquinaria de proceso móvil; vehículo especial de transporte exterior para el desguace; recuperación y gestión de residuos férricos y no férricos, incluyendo la consultoría en digitalización e innovación de los procesos productivos con Microsoft BC.
La ayuda se enmarca en el objetivo principal: OE (iii):1.3. El refuerzo del crecimiento sostenible y la competitividad de las pymes y la creación de empleo en estas, también mediante inversiones productivas.

SUBVENCIÓN 2023
Hierros y Metales Tirso S.A ha recibido una ayuda a fondo perdido por La Sociedad para el Desarrollo Regional de Cantabria a través del programa “Digitalízate para Crecer”
Se han llevado a cabo proyectos en el ámbito del desarrollo de "Herramientas de Gestión Avanzada” y “Ciberseguridad”
La presente ayuda se enmarca en el programa de subvenciones de SODERCAN denominado Digitalízate para Crecer y Resolución SOD/DIG/23/23, de 18 de mayo de 2023, por la que se convoca para el año 2023 la línea de subvenciones del programa Digitalízate para Crecer, así como en la Ley General de Subvenciones de 38/2003 de 17 de noviembre y en su Reglamento de Desarrollo, Ley 10/2006, de 17 de julio, de subvenciones de Cantabria y demás normativa aplicable.

HIERROS Y METALES TIRSO SA HA RECIBIDO UNA SUBVENCIÓN DE LA SOCIEDAD PARA EL DESARROLLO REGIONAL DE CANTABRIA (SODERCAN) POR UN IMPORTE DE 13.133,61 EUROS PARA CONTRATACION DE UNA INGENIERA QUIMICA EN EL AREA DE MEDIO AMBIENTE DURANTE EL PERIODO 2023 , EN EL MARCO DEL PROGRAMA, PROGRAMA PERSONAL TÉCNICO I+D 2023, LO QUE SUPONE UN 33,96 % DE AYUDA SOBRE EL TOTAL DEL PRESUPUESTO ELEGIBLE DEL PROYECTO.
ASIMISMO, HIERROS Y METALES TIRSO SA INFORMA QUE NO HA OBTENIDO OTRAS AYUDAS O SUBVENCIONES PARA LA EJECUCIÓN DEL PRESENTE PROYECTO Y QUE SI ES COMPATIBLE CON OTRAS AYUDAS O SUBVENCIONES.
